Shot my first pro basketball game in over a year. Due to my work schedule, I don't shoot as much basketball as I used to. Last night it was the Golden State Warriors vs the Boston Celtics.

My deadline allowed me to shoot the entire first half and then I had to send in my photos. With that done, I went out to courtside and had the final period to shoot.

Since it was past my deadline at this point, I had the rare luxury to try something different. I shot the entire 4th period at a shutter speed of 1/10th of a second to see what I could come up with.

What I came up with were a lot of blurry, unusable photos but one surprise.

Another photographer was shooting with strobes and at my shutter speed, I was able to pick up his strobe flash. That produced the sharp image you see along with all the blur that comes with my slow shutter speed.
