Recent Work

Some of these images are admittedly boring ... but in those cases, there is a story behind making the photo that I want to share with you...so click on the thumbnails and enjoy.

Few updates lately. I blame it on laziness and procrastination. I'm very good at both. This week, I'll be covering the US Olympic Track and Field Trials in Sacramento, CA. I'll post some of my favorite images in the next few weeks.

Updates have been few and far between this last month so I wanted to take the opportunity to explain why. We seem to be short on picture editors at the Chronicle and with the economy the way it is, there is a hiring freeze in the photo department. What this means is that a photographer gets to fill in. (Usually he or she is kicking and screaming to not have to do it but we really have no choice in the matter) I have been working as our features picture editor for the last month which means sitting at a desk all day - not particularly what I enjoy doing. But some photographers have been permanently reassigned as editors so my month doesn't look so bad. Anyway, there's light at the end of the tunnel...in one week, I'll be back shooting again. When that happens, I hope to have some images to share again.
